Wunsch named interim ISC director

Dr. Ming Leu, the Keith and Pat Bailey Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering, who served as director of the Intelligent Systems Center (ISC) since 2003, stepped down as director on July 1. At Leu’s request, the ISC faculty nominated and then voted for a new interim director. Based on their recommendation, Dr. Donald C. Wunsch II has been named interim director of the Intelligent Systems Center.

Wunsch speaks in China about computational intelligence

Dr. Donald Wunsch, the Mary F. Finley Missouri Distinguished Professor of Computer Engineering, delivered a keynote presentation May 8 at the Forum on the Frontier of the Discipline of Computational Intelligence in Intelligent Control. The event was held at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China. Wunsch’s presentation was titled, “Computational Intelligence in Multi-Agent Systems.”
