“The Elements of Brand-building in Higher Education: The Role of Strategy, Research and Internal Engagement,” by Andrew Careaga, executive director of marketing and communications, was published in the winter 2017-18 edition of the Journal of Education Advancement & Marketing. The invited paper describes Missouri S&T’s branding initiatives during the 2007-08 name change from UMR and more recent branding efforts associated with S&T’s strategic plan. Read More »Missouri S&T is contributing to a systemwide plan for all four University of Missouri System campuses, called the Missouri Compact for Education, Research, Engagement and Economic Development. All faculty, staff and students are invited to review the first draft of S&T’s plan and provide feedback to advocate@mst.edu. For consideration in the current draft, please submit your feedback by noon Friday, Dec. 8. All input will be considered throughout the process, which calls for final drafts in May 2018 and approval by the UM System Board of Curators in June 2018.
