Curators approve strategic plan

The University of Missouri Board of Curators approved Missouri S&T’s strategic plan during the board’s meeting last Thursday (Sept. 20) at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. The approved plan is now available to the S&T community in PDF format. Titled “Elevating Missouri Through Education and Research,” the new strategic plan aligns with the UM System’s strategic goals around five compacts, which are:
- Excellence in student success
- Excellence in research and creative works
- Excellence in engagement and outreach
- Inclusive excellence
- Excellence in planning, operations and stewardship
The plan will also be reviewed by the Missouri S&T Board of Trustees when the trustees meet this Friday, Sept. 28, in St. Louis.
