Friday’s lecture to focus on Ozarks’ Civil War history

John Bradbury, retired assistant director of the State Historical Society of Missouri, will present a lecture at 7 p.m. Friday, June 22, on the second floor of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. His lecture is titled “Civil War Across the Ozarks.” The lecture is part of the library’s summer exhibition, “Impressions of the Civil War in the West,” which will run through Friday, Aug. 31.

Art reception to kick off civil war history exhibit

Library to host civil war exhibition

The Curtis Laws Wilson Library will host an exhibition, “Impressions of the Civil War in the West,” beginning Friday, June 8, and ending Friday, Aug. 31. It will be free and open to the public on the second floor gallery of the library. The exhibit will feature artwork by local artist Dan Woodward.
