Union Pacific to sponsor Opening Week project

Union Pacific will once again sponsor the 2015 Project X — the Opening Week team project for all new freshmen. New students who attend Opening Week, which starts Sunday, Aug. 16, will have the opportunity to participate in a team project with other new students in their mentor groups. The week finishes on Friday, Aug. 21, with awards given out to the top teams.

Nepal earthquake candlelight vigil

Join Nepalese students and community members at a candlelight vigil, which will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, on the Havener Center Lawn, to remember the victims of this tragedy and show support for the community.

Support earthquake victims in Nepal

Support the victims of the recent earthquake in Nepal by donating to their cause. A donation booth will be set up 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, April 30, and Friday, May 1, in front of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. One hundred percent of the money collected will be donated to the victims of this natural disaster.

‘Faculty First Fridays’ continue

The brown bag lunch will be held noon-1 p.m. in Hasselmann Alumni House.
