Dr. Laura Schulz, assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology and women’s health at the University of Missouri-Columbia, will present a guest lecture at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, in Room 126 Schrenk Hall. Her lecture, titled “Maternal Leptin and the Fetal Programming of Offspring Adult Metabolism,” will look at the evidence that intrauterine environment affects offspring susceptibility to metabolic disease in adulthood.
