- Aerospace camp, ages 10-13
- Jackling Introduction to Engineering camp, rising high school juniors and seniors
- Materials camp, rising high school juniors and seniors
- Nuclear engineering camp, rising high school juniors and seniors
- Sports camps, ages vary by camps
COER director candidate coming to campus
Allison Dietz, a candidate for S&T’s director of Career Opportunities and Employer Relations (COER) will give a presentation to the campus community at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, in 305 Norwood Hall. A presentation scheduled for Wednesday, May 16, has been cancelled because the candidate withdrew from the process.

In accordance with Missouri State Statute 9.120, all flags at state and government offices will be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset Tuesday, May 15, to commemorate the sacrifices of the federal, state, county and municipal peace officers who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty.

Our grads are going places
On May 12, nearly 1,300 new S&T graduates in fields as diverse as business, the humanities, engineering and science will head out into the world. You can watch a video highlighting the stories of a few graduating students or read about 10 soon-to-be Miner alumni and see where their degrees are taking them.

Helen White of Edgar Springs died May 8. She was 89. White worked in accounting at Missouri S&T for several years and retired in 1990. Visitation for family and friends will be held 6-8 p.m. tonight (Thursday, May 10) at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 11, at the same location, followed by interment in the Roseberry Cemetery in rural Phelps County.
Read More »New sewer line going in on 11th Street
Weather permitting, work to install a new sewer line for S&T’s student diversity initiatives building will begin Monday, May 14. The house is located at 605 W. 11th Street. During the work next week, part of the street will be blocked off and the driveway to the house will be torn up. There will be a period during the week in which the restrooms will be unavailable in the house; employees can use the restrooms in Bertelsmeyer Hall instead during this time. The parking lot across from Hasselmann Alumni House, Area A, Lot 4, will be closed Tuesday, May 15, and Wednesday, May 16, for a private event. On those days, permit A holders may park in any other lot on campus, with the exception of Lot F. For more information, please contact parking operations at 341-4303.
