Help Desk announces summer hours
The IT Help Desk will continue with phone service 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during summer break. Walk-up service will be limited to 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For help, please contact the IT Help Desk at 341-4357 (HELP), visit the desk on the first floor of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library, or submit a ticket online at help.mst.edu.
Read More »Courses on sustainability in Latin America offered this summer
Two new courses, both called “Sustainability as Trope and Theme in Latin America” will be offered online during the second four weeks of the 2018 summer semester. The class is asynchronous (students complete their work on their own time). No textbook is required; students will use a selection of publications and online resources.

Dr. Christopher Maples, interim chancellor, will update the campus community on the latest budget developments during two budget briefings today (Wednesday, May 9). Please plan to join him and your colleagues at either session. The budget briefings will be held:
- 10-11 a.m. in Leach Theatre (livestream the morning session at https://zoom.us/j/277828300)
- 3-4 pm. in Leach Theatre (livestream the afternoon session at https://zoom.us/j/984650392)
Testing center notes possible delays
Due to the large volume of exams administered through the Testing Center, students may encounter a 30- to 45-minute delay with the starting time of their scheduled final exam. In addition, students using Testing Center services may be asked to start final exams 30 minutes earlier than the regularly scheduled final exam time. Testing Center staff will not release students who finish early until 15-20 minutes after the regularly scheduled final exam time.

Read More »Forciniti named associate provost of faculty affairs
Dr. Robert Marley, provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs, has appointed Dr. Daniel Forciniti, professor of chemical and biochemical engineering, as associate provost of faculty affairs, effective June 1. In his new role, Forciniti will assist the provost’s office with faculty and workload assignment, promotion and tenure policy, and other matters in faculty affairs. He also will represent Marley on various committees and at events, including working directly with academic affairs officials at the University of Missouri System and on other UM System campuses.

Three candidates have been invited to interview for the position of Career Opportunities and Employer Relations (COER) director. The campus community is invited to attend a presentation and question-and-answer session for each candidate. Each event will be held in 305 Norwood Hall. The schedule and candidates are:
