The Miner Challenge Alternative Break Program needs four advisors who are faculty or staff members. Advisors will help guide S&T student trip leaders through a year of engaging their teams with unique social issues and volunteering. Advisors will lead meetings throughout September to April and travel with their teams during Spring Break.

Faculty and staff advisors will work closely with student leaders and their team of participants throughout the academic year in an advisory capacity, as well as participate in all group activities including the alternative break trip.

Advisor trip fees are fully subsidized. Interested faculty and staff must go through an application and interview process to be chosen as a trip advisor based on experience and fit. Apply to be an advisor via OrgSync by Tuesday, Sept. 4.
