CDC advises all persons 18 and older should receive a Covid-19 booster dose.  If your initial vaccination series was received outside of the U.S., under the Emergency Use Instructions, the CDC advises persons 18 and older receive a single booster dose of Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.

Open forum Monday for Kummer Institute leader

Federal mandate update: University suspends vaccine requirement

The university has suspended the requirement for faculty, staff and student employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption. Employees are no longer required to show documentation of vaccination or apply for an exemption at this time. Miner basketball teams at home this weekend

Missouri S&T’s basketball teams have home games this weekend. The women’s team will host William Woods University at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, followed by the men’s team contest against Westminster College at 3 p.m. Both games will be played at Gibson Arena. Admission to all S&T students, faculty and staff is free to all home games this season.

Missouri S&T’s new child care center to host open house tomorrow

S&T’s new Child Development Center will host an open house at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 1207 N. Elm St. The center is housed in the former Southwestern Bell Cultural Center, which was recently remodeled to meet child care health, safety and sanitation standards with funds from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act Child Care Plan. The center will enroll children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.
