The marketing and communications department is looking for undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty who are interested in being “on call” for various creative and marketing opportunities throughout the academic year. In exchange for spending about 20-30 minutes of their time with the marketing and communications team on either April 3 or April 4, they will receive a free lunch and an exclusive S&T T-shirt. Read More »“The Elements of Brand-building in Higher Education: The Role of Strategy, Research and Internal Engagement,” by Andrew Careaga, executive director of marketing and communications, was published in the winter 2017-18 edition of the Journal of Education Advancement & Marketing. The invited paper describes Missouri S&T’s branding initiatives during the 2007-08 name change from UMR and more recent branding efforts associated with S&T’s strategic plan.
