Read More »Dr. Dimitri Feys, assistant professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering, has received a $50,000 grant from the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Foundation for research on self-consolidating concrete, or SCC. Feys is the principal investigator of the research project, which is titled “Minimizing the Effect of Pumping on SCC Workability and Freeze-thaw Durability.” The project was one of four selected by the ACI Foundation’s Concrete Research Council.
