S&T faculty receive tenure, promotions

Several faculty members at Missouri S&T received promotions or tenure, which became effective Sept. 1. 

The faculty members are:

  • Dr. Kristen Donnell, promoted to associate professor of electrical and computer engineering with tenure.
  • Dr. Islam El-Adaway, promoted to professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering.
  • Dr. Dimitri Feys, promoted to associate professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering with tenure.
  • Dr. Garry Grubbs, promoted to associate professor of chemistry with tenure.
  • Dr. Sheryl Hodges, promoted to associate teaching professor of engineering management and systems engineering.
  • Dr. Serhat Hosder, promoted to professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering.
  • Merilee Krueger, promoted to teaching professor of psychological science.
  • Dr. Hyong K. Lee, promoted to professor of mining and nuclear engineering.
  • Dr. Christi Luks, promoted to teaching professor of chemical and biochemical engineering.
  • Dr. Michael Moats, promoted to professor of materials science and engineering.
  • Dr. Ricardo Morales, promoted to associate teaching professor of computer science.
  • Dr. Theresa Odun-Ayo, promoted to associate teaching professor of electrical and computer engineering.
  • Dr. Heng Pan, promoted to associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering with tenure.
  • Dr. Kyle Perry, promoted to associate professor of mining and nuclear engineering with tenure.
  • Dr. Pourya Shamsi, promoted to associate professor of electrical and computer engineering with tenure.
  • Dr. Wan Yang, promoted to professor of geosciences and geological and petroleum engineering.
  • Dr. Caizhi Zhou, promoted to associate professor of materials science and engineering with tenure.
