Missouri S&T’s student commencement speaker program has been expanded so that all graduating students can apply for the opportunity to speak at their commencement ceremony on May 12. Students who will be receiving their Ph.D., master’s degree or bachelor’s degree at the May ceremony may apply. The application deadline for all students is 4 p.m. today (Monday, March 5). The Commencement Student Speaker Committee invites you to encourage graduating students to apply for the chance to address the Spring 2018 graduating class at their commencement ceremonies in May. The committee will select a total of four students to speak at the commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 12: two students, one from each college, at each ceremony. To be considered as a finalist for a live audition, students must be members of the spring 2018 graduating class and apply online by Monday, Feb. 26.Read More »
The Winter 2017 commencement ceremonies will feature student speakers. Undergraduate students were invited this fall to compete for the chance to become one of four speakers. The following individuals will present their speeches during their graduation ceremony Saturday, Dec. 16, in Gale Bullman Building:
Morning ceremony at 10 a.m.
Afternoon ceremony at 3:30 p.m.
