Applications for student commencement speakers due today

The Commencement Student Speaker Committee invites you to encourage graduating students to apply for the chance to address the Spring 2018 graduating class at their commencement ceremonies in May. The committee will select a total of four students to speak at the commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 12: two students, one from each college, at each ceremony.

To be considered as a finalist for a live audition, students must be members of the spring 2018 graduating class and apply online by today (Monday, Feb. 26). Application materials include: a four-minute speech (up to 420 words), resume and online application. Selected speakers must formally accept the role in writing by 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 2.
