Celebrate student artists tonight

A reception to honor the artwork of S&T students will be held 5-7 p.m. today (Monday, May 6) in the atrium of the Havener Center. At 6 p.m., the Renaissance Student Award will be presented. The award, which includes a $1,000 prize, will be presented by S&T’s arts, languages, and philosophy department. Awards for students in French, film studies and Russian will also be given out.

Honor student artists at today’s reception

The Fall 2017 Student Art in the Library Exhibit will be open on the second floor of Curtis Laws Wilson Library from Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Dec. 8. Reception planned for Zuni art display in Writing Center

The Writing Center and the Campus Arts Committee will host a reception to introduce an exhibit of paintings by Byron Calavaza, an artist of the Zuni Pueblo in western New Mexico. Calavaza’s acrylics give expression to traditional elements of Zuni spirituality.
