COVID-19: Command team established for coronavirus response

Missouri S&T leaders are preparing in the event of a coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Currently there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 connected to Missouri S&T. An incident command team is leading planning to respond to a potential COVID-19 outbreak to Missouri S&T and to assure continuity of operations. View this organizational chart of the team. Oct. 1 is deadline for student commencement speaker applications

Graduating seniors, master’s degree students and Ph.D. students from each college are encouraged to apply for selection as a student speaker for their Winter 2018 commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 15. The speakers, who are selected through an application process and competition, must be members of the graduating class they plan to address.

Associate provost for faculty affairs sought

A search committee has been created to assist in finding the next associate provost for faculty affairs at Missouri S&T, who will begin serving in that role Friday, June 1. The position will be a full-time equivalent (FTE) position with 80 percent of the time performing administrative duties as associate provost and 20 percent of the time serving as a faculty member in the individual’s home department.
