Provost participates on panel at World Universities Summit

Dr. Colin Potts, provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs at Missouri S&T, participated in a virtual panel discussion titled “Paradigm Shift: Role of Technology in Strengthening the Universities of the Future” on July 21 during the World Universities Summit. The event was organized by the International Institute for Higher Education Research and Capacity Building of O.P. Jindal Global University in India.  

Along with Potts, the panel included Dr. Krishna Bista, vice president of STAR Scholars Network in the U.S.; Dr. Sophie D’Amours, rector and professor of mechanical engineering at Laval University in Canada; Dr. Ravi Pendse, vice president of information technology at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor; and Dr. Namrata Tognatta, education specialist for the South Asia region for World Bank. Sunil Sangra, professor of liberal arts and humanities at O.P. Jindal Global University, moderated the discussion.
