The Missouri S&T Ballet and Dance Club will host Aladdin dance camps for children ages 3-13. The camp costs $35 per child. Participants can attend one of two camps:
- Sunday, Jan. 29, at The Dance Studio at 939 Parkwood Drive in Rolla
- Sunday, Feb. 5, at Stone Crest at 12355 Route CC in Rolla
Save the date for ‘Through My Eyes’ training
Students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders add to our campus in countless ways. To guide our faculty and staff toward a better understanding and appreciation for the fascinating and wonderful aspects of students with ASD, disability support services will offer two training sessions Friday, Feb. 10:
- Session for staff at 9-10:30 a.m. in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center
- Session for faculty at 11:30-1 p.m., with lunch provided, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center

The west side of Emerson Hall will be open for classes this semester, which will begin Tuesday, Jan. 17. The east side of Emerson Hall will remain closed until further notice, following a fire on the roof of the structure on Dec. 8. Faculty and staff who previously worked in Emerson Hall will continue to work in relocated offices.

University Police is hosting response training for approximately 40 law enforcement officers Wednesday, Jan. 11, on Missouri S&T’s campus. Participants will take classes in Bertelsmeyer Hall during the morning and undergo scenario training with replica weapons in Harris Hall in the afternoon.

Proposals will be presented during the Miner Tank open forum Thursday, Feb. 2.
