Lineup announced for pie-in-the-face

S&T faculty and staff will step up to the plate for pie-in-the-face during Staff Day Wednesday, May 17, outside the Havener Center. The pies cost $2 each or $5 for three pies.

The schedule for pie-in-the-face includes:

  • 10:30-10:45 a.m.: Dr. Greg Gelles, chair and professor of economics
  • 10:45-11 a.m.: Dr. William Gillis, assistant teaching professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering
  • 11-11:15 a.m.: Dr. Joel Burken, Curators’ Distinguished Professor and chair of civil, architectural and environmental engineering
  • 11:15-11:30 a.m.: Dr. Jeff Cawlfield, vice provost for undergraduate studies and professor of geosciences and geological and petroleum engineering
  • 11:30-11:45 a.m.: Dr. Scott Miller, teaching professor of materials science and engineering
  • 11:45 a.m.-noon: Dr. Dick Brow, interim vice provost and dean for the College of Engineering and Computing, and Curators’ Distinguished Professor of materials science and engineering
  • 12:15-12:30 p.m.: Dr. Mark Fitch, assistant chair and associate professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering
  • 12:30-12:45 p.m.: James Tharp, human resources strategic partner
  • 12:45-1 p.m.: Doug Roberts, chief of University Police
  • 1:15-1:30 p.m.: Dr. Larry Gragg, Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor of history
