Dining services seeks marketing intern

Missouri S&T’s dining services department is seeking a student for a paid internship from May 2018 through May 2019. Candidates must be sophomore-level or higher and possess computer skills (preferably Mac), creativity and an eye for detail as well as skills in graphic design, interpersonal and public speaking and experience with PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator programs.

Digging in – students break ground for fitness center expansion

S&T students Kaeden Kessinger, Madison Moore and Scottie Thomas, along with University of Missouri System President Mun Choi, Missouri S&T Interim Chancellor Christopher Maples and other university leaders, broke ground on a $4 million expansion to S&T’s student fitness center on April 12. Construction work will begin this summer and the renovated facility is slated to open in April 2019, increasing in size from 6,400 to 16,600 square feet. Letters of intent due soon for eFellows program

Would you like to redesign your course for a blended or online audience? Missouri S&T’s eFellows program is designed to incentivize and support faculty. The program helps faculty redesign courses using best practices for teaching methodologies and technology for blended or online delivery. Mini-grants are available to support the redesign process as well as focused support and instructional design expertise from the educational technology.
