Block party to affect parking at Gale Bullman

The Student Union Board will host a block party with a carnival, outdoor concert and fireworks Friday, April 20, at the Gale Bullman Building. Parking will be restricted on the south side of the building (near the entrance to the fitness center) beginning Wednesday, April 18. Individuals may park on the west side of the building, in Lot X-20.

Support S&T’s Steel Bridge Design Team

With a busy season of design and fabrication under their belt, the students on the Missouri S&T Steel Bridge Design Team are preparing for their annual competition. The team hopes to raise $2,000 to cover approximately 20 percent of its anticipated competition expenses. If you want to help, visit the team’s crowdfunding page to make a pledge and follow the team’s updates as they compete at the regional competition in Carbondale, Illinois, April 19-20.

Free yoga class available

The Iota Omega chapter of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity is hosting free yoga classes for participants to release pre-finals stress at 7 p.m. Friday, April 20, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center.
