Forum about the scholarship of teaching and learning set for Oct. 3

All early career faculty are invited to a forum on the scholarship of teaching and learning 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center. Refreshments will be provided.
Dr. Elizabeth Cudney, associate professor of engineering management and systems engineering, and Dr. Katie Shannon, teaching professor of biological sciences, will lead the forum. They will share their experiences on conducting research in pedagogy, the resources they’ve found useful, and provide guidance for how to start educational research.
