Thank you! Staff Council recognizes facilities operations employees

Facilities operations staff members were treated to doughnuts this morning (Thursday, Jan. 24) in the General Services Building. Missouri S&T’s Staff Council hosted the thank-you reception to show appreciation for the work employees do yearlong. The thank-you reception is a new initiative by Staff Council’s Involvement Committee to show appreciation to departments throughout S&T.

Huebner named CAFE chair

His tenure will last until through May 2020. Huebner brings many years of experience to the position as a former department chair and vice provost for research.

Portion of parking lot M to temporarily close for construction

Beginning Monday, Feb. 18, a portion of Lot M-36, next to the Engineering Research Laboratory, will be closed until further notice for construction crews to access the construction site for S&T’s classroom learning center addition at the Computer Sciences Building. Unfortunately, this will result in 40 fewer parking spaces in M-36 during construction. Lot M-19 will remain open during this time.
