Celebrate the first official day of summer with free fireworks at approximately 8:45 p.m. Friday, June 21, from Parking Area M-36, located west of the Engineering Research Laboratory.
The fireworks will be visible from most locations near campus. One of the best views will be in the open area south of Lot M, between McNutt Hall, the Engineering Management Building and the Computer Science Building.
The display is part of Missouri S&T’s Explosives Camp for high school juniors and seniors. Dr. Paul Worsey, professor of mining engineering and director of explosives education, will supervise the displays.
To allow for the fireworks displays, Lot M-36 will be closed Friday, June 21. Lot M permit holders may use Lot L parking areas during this time. For more information, please contact parking operations at 341-4303.
