The northern portion of Area F Lot 1 will be closed Saturday, Oct. 4, for sealing and painting. Please use the exit to enter the lot and use caution while in the lot. As soon as the work is complete, it will fully reopen.

The 2014 American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Midwest Conference was held Sept. 24-26 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The Missouri S&T attendees were Drs. Rohit Dua, Steve Watkins, Christi Patton Luks, Amardeep Kaur, Stuart Baur, Semih Yildirim, Douglas Carroll, Matt Pierson and Bob Egbert. Missouri S&T was recognized with the Faculty-Mile Award for attendance at the conference.

MNS testing complete

Thank you for participating in last week’s test of the Missouri S&T emergency mass notification system. Test messages were sent out by phone, email and text to 10,550 recipients at noon Wednesday, Sept. 24. By 12:01 p.m., the message was distributed to 100 percent of email recipients. By 12:10 p.m., it successfully reached 96 percent of text message recipients and by 12:18 p.m., it reached 82 percent of phone recipients.

Statistician to give two guest lectures
