Havener reservations to close, move

The reservations department at the Havener Center will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 30, to move to a new location. During this time, the office will be unavailable. Please email any questions you may have to reserve@mst.edu and they will respond as soon as possible. Once the move is complete, the office will reopen on the first floor of the Havener Center behind the front desk.

Learn how sleep improves the brain

Get free hanging folders from archives

University archives has hundreds of gently used standard -sizehanging folders to give away. Available colors include green, pink, yellow and blue. Go to the university archives in Room G-2 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library and help yourself to as many as you need. After 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, any remaining folders will be recycled. Sophomore Summit is Oct. 7

A new event designed for sophomore students only will be launched on campus in October. The Sophomore Summit will be held 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, starting in the McNutt Hall atrium. The event will feature tips from current students speaking on their experiences in co-ops, internships, study abroad, design teams, involvement, leadership and graduate school. All faculty and staff are invited to attend.

Geothermal event rescheduled

Missouri S&T has rescheduled its ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of its geothermal energy system. The event, originally scheduled for Oct. 7, will be rescheduled at a later date to be determined. Campus Sustainability Day will also be rescheduled.
