Flags to fly at half-staff July 23
By order of U.S. President Donald Trump, the United States flag at all state and government offices will be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset Tuesday, July 23, in memory of John Paul Stevens.

Gail Sue Drallmeier, wife of Dr. James Drallmeier, chair and Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at S&T, passed away on July 15. She taught science at St. Patrick School in Rolla.

Effective July 15, the university began issuing Miner Card IDs with a new look. While the change will not affect those with existing cards, IDs issued to new employees and new students arriving beginning this month will look distinctly different.
