Internal deadlines approaching for NSF proposals

The office of the vice chancellor for research will conduct internal competitions to select Missouri S&T’s designated applicants for upcoming National Science Foundation (NSF) funding opportunities that limit the number of applicants per institution. Letters of intent (LOIs) are due by the following deadlines:
- 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, for Missouri S&T’s two NSF National Research Traineeship slots (original deadline extended)
- 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, for S&T’s three NSF Major Research Instrumentation slots
- 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, for S&T’s one NSF Cultivating Cultures for Ethical STEM slot
Visit S&T’s sponsored programs website for LOI instructions and to learn about other limited-submission opportunities. Please use the NSF solicitation version currently available when preparing your letter. Applicants will be notified if NSF updates either solicitation during the internal competitions.
