Career opportunities and employer relations (COER) opened a career-themed escape room to students in November for a limited time. All the student spots filled up within hours. The escape room will be available by appointment for faculty and staff next week for professional development.

Upgrades planned for physical facilities work order system

The facilities services work order system, Maximo, will be upgraded to a new version. This new version will have a different look and feel but will operate in the same general fashion. Please note:

  • Maximo will be shut down at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12.
  • The upgrade is expected to take 3.5 days.
  • During the outage, you will not be able to create or view service requests.
  • The new Maximo is scheduled to go live at 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16.

Pre-order your commemorative history of S&T

As we prepare to celebrate S&T’s 150th anniversary in 2020, a commemorative, coffee table-style history book about the university is now available for pre-order for campus departments and individuals. Forged in Gold: Missouri S&T’s First 150 Years is written by Dr. Larry Gragg, Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor emeritus of history and political science.

Temporary heating outage expected in Parker Hall

To allow for work on the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system, the ground floor of Parker Hall will not have heat on Monday, Dec. 9, and Tuesday, Dec. 10. The heating outage will only affect the ground floor of Parker Hall.
