Reminder: winter weather policy

Whenever possible, Missouri S&T will stay open for business during winter weather. Under severe weather conditions, university officials may open campus late, close campus early, or close campus for an entire day. Even if campus is not open, classes and work will continue, ensuring that students can make academic progress during the academic year. Be prepared for winter weather

The National Weather Service in Springfield, Missouri, has issued a winter weather advisory through midnight tonight. The advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited visibility, and use caution while driving. Missouri S&T is currently open. If a decision is made to close campus or cancel classes, students, faculty and staff will be notified via email and text. Follow these winter weather tips
