Update: Power outage planned March 24

A planned power outage is scheduled 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, to install new electrical equipment supporting capital projects for the Applied Research Center (ARC), Schrenk Hall and the Welcome Center. A separate brief outage from 6-7 a.m. that morning will support ARC‑related work and will only affect Emerson Hall, Fulton Hall and the Physics Building. March 24 power outage affects campus visits

Due to a scheduled power outage on Tuesday, March 24, the S&T Welcome Center will be closed. As a result, undergraduate admissions will not host campus visits that day.

Facilities operations will conduct a scheduled power outage on Thursday, March 12, to support system integrity and transfer campus power to the south substation. Work will begin at 6 a.m., and power is expected to be fully restored by 7:30 a.m.

Power outage to affect several buildings March 24

A planned power outage is scheduled 6 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, to support medium‑voltage electrical work and the installation of a new transformer and switch for Schrenk Hall. Buildings affected include Castleman Hall,
Centennial Hall, the Rolla Building, Schrenk Hall, Toomey Hall and the Welcome Center.

Scheduled power outage moves to Monday, Dec. 22

Facilities operations will conduct a scheduled power outage Tuesday, Dec. 23, to transfer campus power to the south substation. The outage will begin at 8 a.m., and power is expected to be fully restored by approximately 10 a.m.

Faculty, staff and students are invited to the dedication of the new Welcome Center at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at 500 Tim Bradley Way in the Havener Arrival Complex. The Welcome Center is the first stop for prospective students and visitors when they come to campus.
