Donna Jennings, a Ph.D. student in aerospace engineering, was named a 2020 Amelia Earhart Fellow by the Zonta International Foundation. She is one of 35 recipients worldwide.

Photographs by Jake Welsh, a 2020 Missouri S&T graduate in aerospace engineering, are displayed in the St. Louis Artists’ Guild virtual exhibition, “Art In Isolation.” The national juried art show features U.S. artists working in two-dimensional art, particularly digital, that was created before or during the pandemic.

Dr. David Bayless will return to Missouri S&T on Jan. 1, 2021, as the new chair of mechanical and aerospace engineering. A 1987 S&T mechanical engineering graduate, Bayless is the graduate chair of mechanical engineering and Gerald Loehr Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
