Santa had a little help again this year, thanks to Tau Kappa Epsilon, Kappa Sigma, Sigma Pi and University Police. Captain Oscar Kemp, Sergeant Bret Turnbough and Officer Anthony Giacolone partnered with the fraternities to adopt three local families for the holidays.

Dr. Joni Burch, associate director for residential life, successfully defended her dissertation exploring student perceptions of independent living skills development as a result of the residence hall experience on campus. She earned her doctorate degree from the educational leadership and policy analysis department at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Enjoy tea and lemonade while creating artwork during a “Paint and Sip” event at S&T’s Staff Appreciation Day Wednesday, May 30. Due to the popularity of the 2017 event, two sessions will be held.
