Campus power outage planned Sept. 3

As part of S&T’s project to demolish the former power plant, a campus-wide power outage is scheduled starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3. The outage will last approximately 8-10 hours. The following buildings will not have power during the outage:

The Missouri S&T community is saddened to learn of the death of Eric Mathews, groundskeeper for facilities services. Eric served S&T for 12 years and maintained most of the athletic fields.

Upgrades planned for physical facilities work order system

The facilities services work order system, Maximo, will be upgraded to a new version. This new version will have a different look and feel but will operate in the same general fashion. Please note:

  • Maximo will be shut down at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12.
  • The upgrade is expected to take 3.5 days.
  • During the outage, you will not be able to create or view service requests.
  • The new Maximo is scheduled to go live at 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16.
