Six graduating students have been chosen to speak during Missouri S&T’s commencement ceremonies Saturday, Dec. 15. During morning and afternoon ceremonies, two undergraduate students — one representing the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business (CASB) and one representing the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) — as well as a graduate student will speak. Child or spouse graduating in December?

If you are a staff member or faculty member and your spouse or child will be walking in an S&T commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 15, please contact Krista Chambers at 341-4898 or krista@mst.edu by Thursday, Nov. 8. Staff and faculty members will have the opportunity to meet their child or spouse at the end of the platform and have a professional photo taken with their graduate.

Oct. 1 is deadline for student commencement speaker applications

Graduating seniors, master’s degree students and Ph.D. students from each college are encouraged to apply for selection as a student speaker for their Winter 2018 commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 15. The speakers, who are selected through an application process and competition, must be members of the graduating class they plan to address.
