Read More »Dr. Dave Westenberg, associate professor and interim chair of biological sciences, was invited to serve as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute biointeractive teacher ambassador. Westenberg attended the annual HHMI Biointeractive Holiday Lectures on Science at the institute’s headquarters in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and is participating in the development of curriculum materials for teaching concepts presented during the lectures. The topic of the 2016 Holiday Lectures is, “Ecology of Rivers and Coasts: Foodwebs and Human Impacts.”
