Read More »The campus community is invited to attend a Celebration of Life 1-2 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 23) to honor the life and legacy of Fred Kummer, a Missouri S&T alumnus and philanthropist who died April 30 at age 92. The event will be held in the Kinyon-Koeppel Grand Hall of Hasselmann Alumni House, with light refreshments to follow in the Fred and June Kummer Garden at the alumni house.
Read More »The Missouri S&T community is saddened to learn of the death of Ryan Wesley Swier of Rolla, who passed away Aug. 8 at Phelps Health. Swier was 19 and pursuing computer science and mechanical engineering degrees at S&T.
A “Celebration of Life” service in his memory will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at the Rolla chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary. A visitation for family and friends will be held 3-4 p.m. at the chapel prior to the service.
Dr. Eldon Keith Stanek, a longtime S&T faculty member and former chair of electrical and computer engineering, passed away Sept. 30. He was 77.
