Funeral services planned for Keith Stanek

Dr. Eldon Keith Stanek, a longtime S&T faculty member and former chair of electrical and computer engineering, passed away Sept. 30. He was 77.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, Oct. 4, at First United Methodist Church Rolla, located at 803 N. Main St. The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. and the funeral will begin at 11 a.m. in the main Worship Center.
At S&T, Stanek was the first faculty member to hold the Fred W. Finley Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering professorship. He served nine years as chair of electrical and computer engineering.
