    Bionic Bowel team picks up $10,000

    TEDx ticket discount ends today

    Today is the last day to get discounted tickets for TEDxMissouriS&T at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in Leach Theatre. The discounted ticket prices are $10 for the general public and $5 for S&T students. On April 5, the tickets will cost $15 for the general public and $10 for S&T students.

    Three S&T teams head to EQ competition

    Three teams of Missouri S&T students will pitch their ideas in a “shark tank” style competition at the University of Missouri System’s Entrepreneur Quest (EQ) program. The teams will compete against each other, and the top three finalists from the other UM System campuses during the EQ final rounds that will take place in conjunction with the system’s Entrepreneurial Educator Summit on Friday, April 5, in Columbia.

    Death of Dr. Nord Gale

    Dr. Nord Gale, the founding chair of the biological sciences department, passed away Friday, Feb. 1. Gale served Missouri S&T 32 years, retiring in 2000. A memorial service will be determined at a later date.
