New Help Desk ticket system debuts today

Missouri S&T and the University of Missouri System are implementing a new IT service management tool today (Monday, Oct. 15). The new tool, Cherwell, will replace Remedy and will continue to provide self-service access. If you currently have data stored in the Remedy system, please take the time now to export or copy any data that you may need to another location by Friday, Oct. 19. Google Drive and Google Docs are available options.

Review campus policy on camera monitoring, forum set Oct. 18

S&T’s Policy Council reviewed Policy III-10 (Use of Cameras to Monitor Facilities and/or Activities) and the suggested development is posted with a link for feedback at policy.mst.edu in the policies-in-development section.

Staff and faculty members will have the opportunity to meet their child or spouse at the end of the platform and have a professional photo taken with their graduate.

Faculty advisor needed for honor society

The Blue Key national honor society needs a faculty advisor. Serving in the advisory role requires a maximum of four hours monthly. The student organization holds biweekly meetings and service events about once a month, and other responsibilities are minimal.
