On Monday afternoon, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued a new rule that prohibits international students from returning to or remaining in the U.S. this fall if the universities they attend adopt online-only instruction models. Missouri S&T fully intends to offer on-campus instruction this fall, so this change to the Student and Exchange Visitor Program as stated does not affect students enrolling at Missouri S&T.

Read More »Dr. Ming Leu, the Keith and Pat Bailey Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering, who served as director of the Intelligent Systems Center (ISC) since 2003, stepped down as director on July 1. At Leu’s request, the ISC faculty nominated and then voted for a new interim director. Based on their recommendation, Dr. Donald C. Wunsch II has been named interim director of the Intelligent Systems Center.
