Martha Grisham, human resources specialist, is retiring after almost 44 years of service. The campus community is invited to offer her well wishes by emailing mgrisham@mst.edu or sending a card to her campus address, 113 Centennial Hall. Her last day will be Friday, Jan. 29.

Back-to-school seminars set for Friday

Information Technology media services (ITMS) and the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) will offer back-to-school seminars via Zoom Friday, Jan. 15, to prepare faculty and staff for the spring semester. ITMS will focus on classroom technology, as well as tools like Zoom and Panopto. CAFE will focus on Canvas and other tools tied into Canvas.

Outages planned in Schrenk Hall

Schrenk Hall will experience outages this week as crews renovate G-28 for a vivarium lab. The first outage will include domestic water (sinks) and restrooms. The restrooms in Schrenk Hall West will be unavailable from approximately 6 a.m.-noon tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 12). During this time, the restrooms and sinks in Schrenk Hall East can be used.

Update: Pedestrian bridge construction to affect area traffic

The City of Rolla, in partnership with Missouri S&T, will construct a pedestrian bridge on Route E (University Drive) over Interstate-44, near Exit 185 in Rolla. There will be several closures during construction. Plans are subject to change, depending on weather. Plans currently include:
