Missouri S&T to host civil engineering student symposium this week
Students from all over the Midwest will travel to participate in the American Society of Civil Engineers Mid-America Student Symposium April 18-20 in Rolla. Spark curiosity by helping with May 14 outreach event
The Kummer Center for STEM Education will host approximately 800 elementary students on campus on Tuesday, May 14, for an outreach event named “May the 14th Be With You.” The purpose of this outreach event is to ignite young minds to the possibilities of STEM and bring students to S&T for their first college visit.

Tickets are on sale now for the S&T’s student production of the musical “Cabaret.”
Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18. and Friday, April 19, with a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 21. All performances will be in Leach Theatre.

Join the Engineering Research Laboratory groundbreaking
A new era for applied research at S&T is underway with a major expansion and renovation of the Engineering Research Lab. A 33,000-square-foot addition, along with extensive renovations to the existing structure, will create a state-of-the-art complex for applied research. The Missouri Concrete Conference will be held Tuesday, April 23, and Wednesday, April 24, in St. Pats Ballroom of the Havener Center. The conference will include over 20 presentations. Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend for free.
