Dates have been set for three additional open forums for discussion of the tobacco-free campus initiative that was announced earlier this month.

Undergraduate advising is seeking five sophomore- to senior-level students with a 2.5 GPA or higher as mentors for the On-Track student success program. Selected mentors will receive training the first week of the spring 2016 semester. Mentors will develop and gain leadership opportunities, and could work up to 10 hours per week. Interested applicants can learn more online. The application deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Missouri S&T’s baseball team will hold a number of camps in December for youth and high school baseball players in the Miner Dome. For all camps, players must bring proper equipment, including footwear, as well as a copy of their current insurance card. Sign up for the camps online. The open forum on Missouri S&T’s brand identity evolution, scheduled for 1:30-2:30 p.m. today in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center, has been cancelled. The marketing and communications staff has been dealing with many media inquiries this week related to events stemming from this campus, the UM System and the Columbia campus, and anticipates additional media activity today.

The physical facilities service request form, MAXIMO maintenance, will be offline for approximately 30 minutes beginning at 1:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Nov. 12). During that time, customers will not be able to open a service request. If there is a facilities emergency during the outage, call 341-4252.
