The Vice Provost and Dean of the College of Art, Sciences, and Business invites all CASB graduate coordinators and graduate students to an open forum. The goal of this forum is to provide opportunities for graduate students and coordinators to ask questions and share experiences related to their CASB graduate programs. The Missouri S&T Hispanic Film Series presents “Spider Thieves”, at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, in Room 104 Physics Building. The 2016 drama will be presented in Spanish with English subtitles. The event is FREE and open to the public.
Three teenage girls from a Santiago shanty town set in motion a plan to climb buildings and plunder expensive apartments. All they want is to have all the cool and trendy stuff they see advertised in TV commercials and department stores. Word spreads and soon enough they became the notorious “spider thieves.”

Missouri S&T faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a free performance of Newsies by Fine Linen Theatre at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in Leach Theatre. To reserve your free tickets, visit https://www.finelinentheatre.com/newsies-mst.html or the Leach Theatre Box Office in Castleman Hall. The free performance is only open to S&T staff, faculty, students and their immediate families. You must present a valid S&T ID when picking up your tickets. 26th A. Frank Golick Lectureship
Dr. David Seidman, from Northwestern University, who is a national and international expert in field-ion microscopy and atom probe tomography and a member of the National Academy of Engineering (class of 2018), will be on campus on March 20th. The event is open to the public and will be located in 125 Butler-Carlton Hall. At 11:00AM pizza and drinks will be served, starting at 12:00PM Dr. Seidman will be giving a lecture.
