New research center to focus on intelligent infrastructure

Faculty and students are invited to drop by a reception to celebrate creation of the Center for Intelligent Infrastructure 8:30 a.m.-noon Thursday, Aug. 8, in the Silver and Gold Room of the Havener Center. The event is co-sponsored by the office of the vice chancellor of research.
Missouri S&T’s newest research center will oversee externally funded projects and centers related to intelligent infrastructure.
Representatives from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Missouri Department of Transportation, international community and campus leaders will attend the event. The event is open to faculty and students, but meals are limited to invited guests only. For more information, please contact Dr. Genda Chen, Robert W.
