The Miner Volleyball Team will host “Date Night on the Miners,” where parents and guardians can enjoy a night out, while players and coaches from the Miner volleyball team take care of their children, from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 9, inside the main gym of the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building. The cost is $5 per child per hour. Additional donations will be accepted. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is discouraging the use any version of the Internet Explorer web browser until a serious security flaw is resolved. Missouri S&T’s information technology asks all faculty, staff and students to discontinue use of the Internet Explorer browser immediately.

The campus faculty and administrators are invited to attend the Faculty Social and Welcome Event that will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A of the Havener Center.
