DeWitt to discuss WWI on KCUR

Dr. Petra DeWitt, assistant teaching professor of history and political science, will discuss the treatment of German-Americans in Missouri during World War I on Kansas City public radio station KCUR at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8. DeWitt will talk about her book on the subject, “Degrees of Allegiance: Harassment and Loyalty in Missouri’s German-American Community during World War I” on a program called Central Standard.
