Due to inclement weather, today’s MinerRama Involvement Fair will be held indoors 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Havener Center Atrium instead of outdoors at the Puck. The chancellor and his leadership team will serve free ice cream treats 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. during MinerRama.
Read More »Parker Hall’s main entrance to reopen, north entrance to close
The main entrance (west entrance) of Parker Hall will reopen Monday, Aug. 27, and will be ADA-accessible. The entrance will have temporary handrails, which will later be replaced by permanent handrails. The west entrance has been closed since May as part of a foundation stabilization project for the building.

Army ROTC will conduct cannon training 4:30-5:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Aug. 23) outside Harris Hall. Blanks will be used to conduct training. No live ammunition will be fired. Do not be alarmed if you hear loud reports and see smoke in front of Harris Hall.

I scream, you scream, free ice cream tomorrow
Dr. Chris Maples, interim chancellor, and his leadership team will serve free ice cream for students, faculty and staff 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. during MinerRama Friday, Aug. 24, on the campus mall near the Puck. In the case of rain, drop by the Havener Center for ice cream. MinerRama will run 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
